Hat Rock State Park (Oregon)

A grassy Oregon state park on Lake Wallula named for its hat-shaped rock, a landmark Lewis and Clark noted in 1805. Easy picnic and fishing spot.

  • Picnic on the lawn or fish the pond and the lake.
  • Bring a group: four reservable group areas hold up to 100 people each.

Know before you go

  • Oregon State Parks day-use parking permit required (buy on site). A Discover Pass does not work in Oregon.
  • Open for day use year-round.
