Juniper Dunes OHV Area

About 3,920 acres of BLM land open to off-highway vehicles northeast of Pasco: loose sand, trails through sagebrush, open dunes and primitive roads.

What to do

  • Ride the open area on a dirt bike, ATV, side-by-side or 4×4.
  • Camp primitive for up to 14 days.

Getting there

Know before you go

  • No fees, but every motorized vehicle needs current state registration tabs.
  • Helmets are required on motorcycles and ATVs on BLM land.
  • No facilities, water or services. Do not pull trailers past the upper staging area.
  • The Juniper Dunes Wilderness next door is closed to all motor vehicles and bikes.
