Farm fields, ponds, wetlands and shrub-steppe 3 miles northwest of Mesa, planted for wintering waterfowl and migrating sandhill cranes. Excellent upland and waterfowl hunting.
What to do
- Watch for sandhill cranes in migration.
- Hunt upland birds and waterfowl in season.
Know before you go
- Register on site when you arrive and report your activity before leaving.
- No motor vehicles outside the parking areas; 8-car limit during hunting seasons.
- No overnight camping and no open fires.
