Do I need a security clearance to work at Hanford?

In our review of the prime contractors’ public postings (Oct. 3, 2026), most listed “Clearance Required: No” and “Citizenship Required: Yes.” Union craft jobs (HAMTC) list a starting hourly rate set by the collective bargaining agreement — for example $41.51/hr for heavy truck drivers and $61.06/hr for linemen.
