Working at Hanford, in plain language
- Citizenship: nearly every contractor posting requires U.S. citizenship.
- Clearance: most postings we reviewed say “Clearance Required: No.” Some require an active clearance or the ability to obtain a DOE “L” or “Q” clearance — we flag those.
- Union craft jobs (HAMTC) list a starting hourly rate set by the bargaining agreement — e.g., $41.51/hr for heavy truck drivers, $53.85/hr for journeyman ironworker-riggers, $61.06/hr for linemen.
- Students: H2C runs paid co-ops for Columbia Basin College and WSU Tri-Cities students.
Employers: post a job for free
Standard posts are free and reviewed by a person. We add plain-language and Spanish summaries. Featured jobs and a single founding board sponsor are optional ways to buy prominence.
Post a job
Standard job posts are free for employers in Benton and Franklin counties. Include pay — listings with pay get more applicants.
How we list jobs: individual postings come from employers’ public job boards that permit indexing, with only the facts needed for search and a link to the official application. Employer “hiring now” pages link straight to official careers sites. Expired roles drop off automatically.
