Tucannon River and Wooten Wildlife Area Lakes

A string of eight stocked fishing lakes and simple campgrounds along the Tucannon River in the Blue Mountains, between Dayton and Pomeroy.

What to do

  • Fish for stocked trout; Big Four Lake is fly fishing only.
  • Camp at the wildlife area campgrounds along the river.
  • Watch for elk on the hillsides, especially in winter.

Getting there

Know before you go

  • A Discover Pass or WDFW Vehicle Access Pass is required.
  • Check WDFW fishing rules for each lake.
  • Dogs must be leashed April 1 to July 31.
