Sun Lakes–Dry Falls State Park

Dry Falls is what is left of an Ice Age waterfall about 3.5 miles wide. The park below it has lakes, camping, boating, hiking and golf.

What to do

  • Take in the view of the dry cataract from the overlook and visitor area.
  • Paddle, boat or fish on Park Lake.
  • Play the nine-hole or mini golf course.
  • Camp at one of 96 standard or 41 full-hookup sites (reserve ahead in summer).

Getting there

Know before you go

  • Discover Pass required for day use.
  • The area gets heavy wind.
  • Some campsite water is shut off after Oct. 1 and those sites close Nov. 1.
