Do I need a Discover Pass to visit Sacajawea State Park or other state recreation land near the Tri-Cities?

The Discover Pass covers day-use vehicle access to Washington state parks and other state-managed recreation lands, including Sacajawea Historical State Park at the confluence of the Snake and Columbia rivers in Pasco.

  • Annual pass: $50, good in two vehicles if you register both.
  • One-day pass: $11.50.
  • Buy online at discoverpass.wa.gov, or check local vendors; some Mid-Columbia Libraries branches loan passes for checkout.

Leave the pass visible on your dashboard while parked. Washington Fish and Wildlife lands and DNR-managed forests also require the pass for vehicle access.
