About 1,300 acres of restored grassland and shrub-steppe 8 miles northeast of Prosser with spring wildflowers, mule deer and some of the best public elk hunting on the wildlife area.

What to do

  • Walk for spring wildflowers along Snipes Creek.
  • Hunt deer and elk in season.

Know before you go

  • No overnight camping and no open fires.
  • Most seasonal water dries up by midsummer.
