What to do
- Fish, paddle or picnic at Horsethief Lake.
- Climb or take the short hike at Horsethief Butte, with views of the river and Mount Hood.
- Hike the Crawford Oaks or Dalles Mountain Ranch trails in spring.

- Two areas of the butte are signed no climbing for cultural reasons. Please respect them.
